The OpConnect Electric Vehicle Charging System represents an advanced network of
electric vehicle charging stations that can not only charge, but one day will also
communicate with, a variety of electric vehicles. Registered OpConnect customers
can use the MyOpConnect website to manage their accounts, locate the closest OpConnect
charging station, and remotely check the status of their battery recharging.
The OpConnect System offers pedestal-mounted or wall-mounted charging stations suitable
for commercial, fleet, and public applications. OpConnect will also be offered in
a residential version, beginning in late 2009. OpConnect charges up to four vehicles
at a time, and supports 120V and 240V charging. OpConnect conforms to all industry
standards.
