You may have noticed that we rolled a new responsive website over the weekend. We believe the new site will allow us to share even more information with drivers using our OpConnect stations, as well as those folks who are considering purchasing an OpConnect charging station or one of our other products.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will be adding tutorial videos, white papers, FAQs, and more to the new site about why we think our products and services are industry leaders.
In the meantime, you may notice the new menu above the header. This provides quickly the information drivers and others need most and fastest – whether that is finding a station, logging into the member or site owner dashboards, or calling or emailing our support team.
The new website also features a responsive design, which means it is flexible for viewing on any device whether it is a PC, smartphone or tablet. While a lot of OpConnect website features are available via our smartphone app (such as making a reservation at a station), not everyone is going to have that app downloaded (yet) and want answers to their questions quickly.
By having our website coded this way, we believe consumers will be better able to engage with the website, and more often. More and More often web searches are being performed on mobile devices (I was using my smartphone the other night to search for the top grossing concert tours in 2013).
We recognize the end users of our charging stations – EV drivers – are very busy and don’t have the luxury to wait for apps to download to their device.
